3. Warehousing of your mobile unit
When you’ve packed your belongings in the storage mobile unit, we pick it up and bring it to our secure warehouse. Once on our premises, the unit and its contents are safeguarded by our alarm system.
HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR STORAGE
Furniture and appliances:
- Wrap your mattress, couch, armchair, etc. in plastic covers
- Avoid storing an appliance that has not been thoroughly cleaned (to avoid attracting rodents or causing unpleasant odours).
- Cover wood furniture to prevent scratches and to protect it from dust.
Boxes and sundry items:
- Create an inventory list of your stored belongings
- Place the heaviest boxes on the bottom and the lighter ones on top of them
- Try to keep some open space inside your mobile storage unit to allow you to move around and be able to reach your belongings
- Wrap fragile objects, dishes, mirrors, etc. in sheets or fabric to protect them from damage
