LEASE PERIOD: The Lessee is renting the Lessor’s premises on a monthly basis. Any termination of occupancy of the premises shall be notified to the Lessor in writing within thirty (30) days. In the absence of such written notice, the Lessee shall continue to be the Lessee of the Lessor and shall pay rent to the Lessor.
LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS: You are the Lessee of your heated or unheated storage unit. As the Lessor, Viens Mini-Entrepôts is in no way responsible for your property or for any damage or loss thereto.
ACCESS: The Lessee shall be entitled to enter and exit the rented Premises 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Lessor reserves the right to enter the rented Premises to make repairs when necessary. The Lessee shall be given an access card or code.
MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD: The rental period shall be a minimum of one (1) month from the date of the first invoice for the unit the Lessee shall occupy. Payments are due in advance. No refunds will be made if the Lessee vacates the Premises earlier than the date agreed upon.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: This Lease is made and entered into on the express condition that the Lessor shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the Lessee’s property, even if such loss or damage were to occur by reason of force majeure or act of God. The Lessee is solely responsible for obtaining insurance to cover their property against loss or damage.
